Up-to-date: New simplified regime for filing health insurance claims under Bulgaria Zdrave

Dear custumers,

As of April 6, 2022, the simplified regime for filing insurance claims under “Bulgaria Zdrave”Corporate Health Insurance is updated. Insurance claims at the amount of BGN 500 under Bulgaria Zdrave Health Insurance may be processed without presenting original financial documents, therefore the Insurer reserves the right to request the original financial documents for review during the claim assessment process.

For your convenience on the corporate page of the Company, you can download a Claim Form for Reimbusement of Expenses for electronic filing or submit documents online in the E-platform for customer service, through your individual online account. If you do not have one, you can quickly and easily register in the e-platform via the "Register" button *.

In order to take advantage of the simplified procedure, it is necessary to fill in, sign and send a DECLARATION to a Claim form for reimbursement of expenses of up to BGN 500 (five hundred) in addition to the Claim form and the other documents attached.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We would like to draw the attention of our customers and partners to be aware of some technical details required by the Claims Department, that will optimize the claims handling process, as follows:

• Sending clear and legible copies of the scanned documents, for example when scanning in one file the invoice with receipt - please be careful not to overlap part of the information, either on the invoice or on the receipt
• Before scanning, on the original copy of the receipt / invoice / document, the insured person should write: Submitted on…. (current date) to Bulgaria Insurance AD Claims Department.
